About the ITEME Rwanda
Program
The ITEME Rwanda Program is implemented by Kepler in collaboration with universities,
scholarship providers, admissions offices, and humanitarian organizations.
Its mission is to bridge
the gap between secondary education and higher education by equipping students
with the academic, technical, and personal skills needed to compete
successfully for university admission and scholarship opportunities.
Participants receive
practical guidance throughout the entire university application process while
building skills that prepare them for academic success.

Who Can Apply?
The ITEME Rwanda Program
welcomes applications from both refugees and vulnerable Rwandan host community
students.
Refugee Applicants
Applicants must:
- Have completed secondary/high school
education or possess an equivalent qualification.
- Hold valid refugee documentation such
as:
1. Refugee
ID
2. Proof
of Registration (PoR)
3. Asylum
Seeker Certificate
- Be residing in or near one of the
participating refugee camp locations.
Host Community (Rwandan)
Applicants
Applicants must:
- Have completed secondary education.
- Hold an S6 A-Level Certificate.
- Possess a valid National ID.
- Come from vulnerable communities
within the designated host community areas.
Priority Will Be Given To
The program particularly
encourages applications from:
- Refugees
- Students from disadvantaged
backgrounds
- Young women
- Youth living with disabilities
- Final-year secondary school students
- Recent secondary school graduates
- Students who completed secondary
education but have not yet enrolled in tertiary education

- S5 Academic Results
- S6 Academic Results
- High School Diploma (NESA Certificate
or equivalent)
- Refugee ID, Proof of Registration
(PoR), or Asylum Seeker Certificate (for refugee applicants)
- National ID (for host community
applicants)
